Social Security yearly increase should be equal or more than food stamp and welfare increases each year. SS recipients buy the same food and shop in the same marketplace as the recipients of these giveaway programs. SS recipients (most of them) have paid into the program making them actually and truly 'entitled' to the same increases more so than participants of giveaway programs. It is not fair nor is it non-discriminant to give SS recipients 1.3 - 1.5% increases while the non contributors in society receive 15, 20 even 30% increases in given year.
