The word "judgment" is based off of the root word "judge". The removal of the letter which allows the "G" to make the traditional sound of the letter "J" is the "E" which follows it. The arbitrary removal of the letter "E" from the position after the "G" makes the word inconsistent with the rules of the American English language. The proper pronunciation of the word "judgment" would be something along the lines of jud-GUH-ment, and therefore, to simplify the English language, this inconsistency should be changed.
