Require the State of Mississippi to update it's vaccine laws to include religious and philosophical vaccine exemptions

Created by A.R. on March 20, 2013

Please require the state of Mississippi to update it's vaccine laws to include religious and philosophical vaccine exemptions for parents. Mississippi's current vaccine laws discriminate against unvaccinated or partially vaccinated children and they deny parents the right to religious and/or philosophical exemptions. Parents deserve the right to informed consent, which states that a person has the right to either accept or refuse treatment. There is no scientific proof unvaccinated children present a health risk to the public any more than vaccinated children. Parents are entitled the right to refuse any and all vaccines and still obtain a quality education for their children. THIS IS MEDICAL DISCRIMINATION. 48 states allow non-medical exemptions for parents who wish to decline vaccines.
