require states to put a tax on non-local produce in supermarkets

Created by A.H. on December 17, 2014

Produce imported for from other states hurts your local economy. Money is being sent to big farms across the country instead of local ones. If there were a tax on this imported produce, people would be encouraged to buy locally grown produce. This would put the money directly into the local economy and encourage the growth of small local farms.
