Since many states have passed laws that require voters to show ID either a driver license or a state ID prior to voting those states should be required to provide those ID's for free. Many potential voters are on limited incomes or on fixed incomes that can't afford to pay the money required for such ID's. In many cases these laws are nothing more than a poll tax and or an attempt to suppress voting.
