Citizens and especially seniors are inundated with robo-calls daily facilitated by telecoms who profit from the calls. Telecoms should be required to offer at no additional charge an option to consumers to send all calls to voice mail without ringing to allow review by the consumer, who then can place the caller on a "white list" which will allow future calls to ring through to the caller; or onto a "black list" which will permanently block future calls from that number without ringing.
This technology is readily available but has been ignored by telecoms at the expense of the well-being of the consumer. This will help eliminate scams aimed at seniors and others.
