Require term limitations for members of congress to allow for no more than 12 years to be served in any one body.

Created by M.R. on November 14, 2012

In order to create new opportunities for fresh ideas, collaboration and cooperation within Congress, we propose that members of Congress have mandatory term limitations that allow for no more than 12 years of service in any one body consecutively or otherwise. This will mean that any one person will be able to serve in Congress for a total of no more than 24 years (12 in the House and 12 in the Senate) should they be elected or re-elected to their positions in each body.
