What good is having the right to know if those providing information have no obligation to be truthful. A misinformed voter is a dangerous thing. Lying for political gain is fraud. Taking things out of context to change their meaning is fraud.
I don't think how much money is spent on commercials is a problem. The fact that the commercials have no obligation to get their matters of fact accurate is a problem
We need to get the lying out of the system.
