We the people petition the US government to require those who receive government assistance (ie. food stamps, housing assistance, medicaid, welfare, etc.) to volunteer at local government offices while receiving assistance from the government. Required volunteer workers would rotate through the many different local government offices and businesses, allowing for the volunteer to receive valuable diverse training. This training may lead to the future hiring of the volunteer therefore allowing the said volunteer to successfully transition into the workforce and no longer need government assistance. Required volunteer work would be on a rotating schedule molded to the individual needs of each person. Requirements include a minimum of 1 day a week, rotating a new government office each month.
