Prior to continuing voting privileges for those that have signed secession petitions, require those to complete a course on the history of the Civil War and today's real problems with that concept. Particularly in Maine, a blue state, just under 4000 citizens signed this petition. These are people who refer to our President as "boy" or worse. They vote Republican without being educated about core issues. This ignorant behavior threatens the fabric of our democracy.
