Require all firearms by non-on duty law enforcement officers and on-duty active military personnel to have a trigger lock on all firearms at all times when stored, transporting, or carrying-on-person when in public. Trigger locks must be on the firearm when any other persons are in household and are not registered or licensed to access the designated firearm. No firearm can be sold without a trigger lock. Keys for firearms must be secured and not accessible to non-registered or licensed persons for the designated firearm. Trigger locks must be on firearms when not in use at shooting galleries or other designated places where firearms can legally be used.
I believe this will help reduce accidental shootings, and reduce the occurrence of firearms used in Right-to-carry states.
