Require United States' schools to heighten security.

School shootings (and shootings in general) are becoming a way of society now. I believe that if schools heightened their security which would include: Having metal detectors, and security guards while school is in session would lower the risk for future incidents like we've seen recently in Connecticut. If schools can afford to hire full time truancy officers, then surely they can afford to hire someone that would be there to serve in the student's best interest.
