We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Require U.S. based corporations to pay at least federal minimum wage to workers in foreign countries.

Created by M.H. on June 17, 2016

Americans are losing millions of jobs to foreign workers who work for extremely low wages. This is good for shareholders and corporate profits, but bad for most Americans. This practice does not improve the lives of workers, or foreign economies the way that it should, and leads to global inequality, resentment, and the erosion of the American job market. Companies should also be prohibited from purchasing goods or services from foreign entities that do not pay workers the equivalent of the U.S. Federal minimum wage. This action would initially cause significant price increases, but would dramatically stimulate the U.S. and global economies and return millions of manufacturing jobs to the U.S.
