Require US Employers to Offer a Minimum 10 Days of Vacation Time/Sick Leave to Full Time Employees.

Created by M.G. on November 24, 2013

The United States stands alone as the only industrialized nation on earth that does not require employers to offer ANY vacation or sick leave to full time employees. As a result, stress-related health care incidents are on the rise as an increasing number of Americans find themselves unable to take time off from work.

Therefore, we petition that the US Government mandate that employers give each full-time employee a minimum of 10 days of paid leave per year for vacation or sick leave.
