require that U.S. Government Agencies utilize the U.S. Postal Service to mail letters & packages, vice private shippers.

U.S. Government Agencies in many instances utilize private shipping companies such as FedEx and UPS instead of the Government's own shipping agency, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Requiring Government Agencies to utilize the USPS would provide support to the embattled USPS and improve its financial situation. There should also be a study to determine if current practices of using private shippers is more expensive than if the Government required its own Agencies to utilize the USPS.
