Require US jobs creation proof from corporations who receive US tax breaks.

Created by D.B. on September 25, 2011

Corporations should be required to prove how tax credit dollars are used to create US jobs, as well as retention of those jobs, to qualify for the tax break.

When President Bush sold the corporate tax breaks idea in the media he stated that the dollars retained by these corporations would be used to "reinvest in America".

The problem is there is no requirement that they prove where or how those tax dollars are used. The majority of these corporations are hanging on to our tax dollars as profits to boost their shareholder portfolios, or creating jobs in foreign countries and laying off US workers.

We the people want accountability from corporations in exchange for giving tax breaks for job creation and reinvestment in America.
