Because of the massive numbers of Spanish speakers who have relocated to our country in such a short time. the occurrence of Spanish in media, government and elsewhere has become almost common place. President Theodore Roosevelt said "...we have room for but one language here, and that is the English language." I believe that is 100% true and correct. In the face of the Spanish language onslaught, I petition for an amendment to the Constitution to require that any and all officials of the United States, while serving in their official capacity, and when doing so in the United States or any of it's territories, conduct that business in the English language only. And should they be addressing a non-English speaking sub-group, an interpreter shall be provided.
