As an American citizen, I believe that in order for a person to vote, a valid ID must be presented. No illegal immigrant should be allowed to vote. Any immigrant coming to the United States that wants to stay: must go through the procedure to be here legally or be sent back. No benefits of any sort should be given to an ILLEGAL immigrant; meaning no medicaid, food stamps, rental assistance or college money, etc. It is appalling the numbers of illegal immigrants that get these benefits and have for many years. They are not legal citizens and should not and do not deserve benefits that are in place for natural born or legal citizens.
