Current regulations leave the labeling of pickle jars at the discretion of the manufacturer when it comes to the taste & flavor of pickles.
Unfortunately, after decades of being a commodity product, manufacturers seem to be unwilling to adequately disclose on package labeling whether their product contains regular, or "Dill" pickles, in contrast to "Sweet Pickles".
Thus, to prevent this epidemic of fraudulent pickle packaging, we humbly petition the Obama Administration to work with the FDA to require a mandatory warning label on all jars of sweet pickles to indicate that they will taste absolutely nothing like what the consumer typically attempts to purchase when buying a jar of pickles.
