For decades, the American people have been told by the Republican Party, and by the wealthiest 1% of Americans they most fervently support, that taxes of every kind needed to be reduced for those wealthiest 1% to provide them the means to create new jobs.
But over the past 30-40 years, the new jobs that we were promised have not materialized.
We ask the Obama Administration to work to substantially increase ALL taxes on the wealthiest 1% of Americans as a matter of fairness.
In order to promote REAL job creation, we propose that for every 100 or 200 new jobs created IN AMERICA, the job creator's taxes could be reduced according to a formula.
This would provide a new mechanism by which the ultra-wealthy could lower their taxes by keeping their promise to actually create those new jobs.
