Pornography can be a dangerous substance if introduced to minors too young or unregulated. There have been links between excessive watching of porn and increases in sexual assault, violence, and objectification of women as sex objects. It is illegal for video stores to sell adult films to minors, for game stores to sell rated M games to minors, for minors to see rated R movies. However, pornographic sites simply require a "enter date of birth" in order to access the site. Allowing pornography websites to educate kids about sex is equivalent to allowing tobacco or sugar industries to educate kids about health. Seeing how most young children do not have a debit or credit card, and seeing how parents can track the cards that their kids do have, this measure could help restrict this material.
