Welfare is a great system that can help people get back up from poverty. But welfare is often abused, and people often use welfare payments to purchase drugs. This must end! We the people demand that welfare recipients should be required to take a drug test, and should face a reduction of benefits if they do not pass. Taxpayer dollars should not go to drugs! This would save the government tons of money that could go to those who REALLY need it and to taxpayers. It is fundamentally wrong to allow people to abuse the system like this. Welfare should go to food and clothing and healthcare and rent, not drugs.
