Require Wireless Carriers to Provide Unlimited Data

Created by R.R. on March 30, 2013

By putting data caps on consumers, wireless carriers like Verizon have created a new way to nickel and dime their customers. When I had my old phone, a Samsung DROID Charge, I had unlimited data, which was useful for when the wi-fi network at home was not working properly or when I was on a long car trip. Now, with my new iPhone 5, I am limited to 2 GB of data per month, which is not nearly enough for those purposes. There are millions of Americans who have been affected by this, so the Obama administration should require companies like Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile to provide unlimited data by making it a condition for significant subsidies or tax breaks.
