Estimates from the Donald Trump Administration as well as from respected engineers place the cost of building a wall between the United States and Mexico at $15-25 BILLION USD. Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that he will ensure that Mexico pays for, or reimburses tax payer's money spent to create this wall, despite the Mexican government stating numerous times that they have no intention of doing so. Upkeep and security for this project will cost even more money. Creating this new structure when roads, bridges, dams, and other forms of infrastructure are falling apart seems drastically illogical. Please redirect all proposed funding away from any plans to build a U.S./Mexico divider until our own country's infrastructure is safe and secure. Create jobs within our own country first.
