I am an older American, beset by Arthritis and in constant pain of one level or another. I am presented with a choice between taking opioid pain killers, opening myself to a damaging addiction, along with the other problems caused by such use, or unlawfully using cannabis, which presents much fewer side effects and no hard to kick addiction.
Medical science has proven conclusively that such is a safe and effective medicine for my condition, much safer and less harmful than the Oxycodone or other pain treatment regimens I have tried as an alternative. Cannabis has been proven to be safer than Tylenol.
It is time to step beyond a law that was designed to support those who would decide for others how they should live, and to support truth, freedom, and true justice.
