Reschedule cannabis from being a Schedule 1 drug in the Controlled Substances Act, to a Schedule 2 drug.

Created by N.J. on September 13, 2013

As of September 13th, 2013, 26 of the 50 states in the USA have marijuana laws, being decriminalized, medical, or both. With cannabis laws legal, we could study this drug in universities, to find out what exactly cannabis does in a long-term effect, and also which diseases it could cure. Instead of asking for a schedule 3 or 4, we have to take baby steps to reach these goals, since this has been happening over the past 20 years, and is around 5-10 years to legal medical marijuana, due to the federal branches deciding to let the states take care of the situation, since every situation is unique in every state.
