We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Reschedule Cannabis from DEA Schedule 1 to Schedule 3, similar to Marinol and other synthetic cannabis products.

Created by S.T. on July 28, 2016

Schedule 1 drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. Schedule I drugs are the most dangerous drugs of all the drug schedules with potentially severe psychological or physical dependence.

It is clinically proven that cannabis has many life-saving and disease healing medicinal properties, however the U.S. government continues to treat a simple plant as harmful, highly addictive as heroin, with no medical use in accordance with the CSA of 1970.

Currently 4 states and D.C. have decriminalized cannabis for personal use, however most states are denying use of medical cannabis for research, patient access to CBD, veterans with PTSD and cancer patients.

It is time for an end to Federal Prohibition of cannabis.
