According to the DEA a Schedule III drug is defined as
"...drugs with a moderate to low potential for physical and psychological dependence."
Recent studies on the potential for addiction regarding cannabis has shown that the addiction rate for cannabis is lower than many other drugs.
The National Institute on Drug Abuse states "Estimates from research suggest that about 9 percent of users become addicted to marijuana."
Less than: nicotine, alcohol, cocaine, and heroin.
It is only correct to put Cannabis in it's proper category.
