Marijuana is currently classified as a schedule I controlled substance. This is WRONG because it has become abundantly clear that many constituents of cannabis have been proven to have medicinal benefits in a wide range if diseases. Before you discredit me as being misinformed, allow me to cite patent # 6,630,507, "Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties...This new found property makes cannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases..."
This is the epitome of hypocrisy and is a far cry from "no currently accepted medical use" which is one of the requirements to be a schedule I controlled substance.
