Reschedule Marijuana from the schedule 1 drugs list.

Created by R.W. on November 20, 2012

As it is know under the Controlled Substance Act Marijuana has been classified as a schedule 1 substance. Schedule 1 contains substances with no known medical value. This list includes such substances as Heroin and ecstasy.
Marijuana has been researched and found to have medicinal properties. With this being said it should not be scheduled as a class 1 substance.
From my research marijuana would fit better under the schedule 3 substances which are defined ,as Substances in this schedule have a potential for abuse less than substances in Schedules I or II and abuse may lead to moderate or low physical dependence or high psychological dependence.
I hope one day the voices of the people will be heard and we can begin to end this senseless war against marijuana.
