I am asking President Obama to instruct the DEA to either reschedule or deschedule Cannabis. With the DEA being a part of the executive branch the President has the power to instruct the DEA to make that move. It would be even better if Congress can put a bill forward for President to sign but in the end President has the power to do it himself. Cannabis can bring in many medical possibilities, plenty of revenue, very good industrial product (hemp) and is way less harmful than alcohol. Mr President I believe you constitutionally have the power to change that and I also believe that you are still in touch enough to understand the benefits. Please help fix this issue so that many non violent offenders can go home to their families and the sick can have a safer alternative for medication.
