Given past and recent history related to oil spills both in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico, and the damage caused to the ecosystems, we the people respectfully request that the Arctic drilling rights awarded to Shell Oil Co. be rescinded in order, in some small way, to reduce the likelihood that such disasters will occur again.
