Recently, Bump Fire Systems has released a rifle stock that uses the gun's recoil to fire at a rate much higher than if a person was simply pulling the trigger.
This device can be acquired cheaply ($99) and attached to weapons like the AR-15 (now infamous for its role in recent mass shootings). Videos have demonstrated the stock's ability to fire 100 rounds in only 7 seconds.
We the People believe this device and any similar products in development or currently available represent a clear and present danger to public safety and are not reasonably justified under the Second Amendment.
Therefore, we ask that the President order the ATF to suspend or rescind its authorization of these devices and halt all sales, effective immediately.
