Please rescind Black History Month as Black History is not Black History it is American History. We should not seperate this part of history by itself and cause a divide in our culture . It is Amaerican History and American History consists of the achievements made and adversities our society has overcome as a whole , not just one culture . When you seperate history like this it divides us , and leads people to believe that one culture does not understand these adversities becausethey are not from that culture . Black History is Amaerican History period . Without one nation coming together as a whole we can not overcome adversity. In which we still have issues today and through seperation of culture and history we further divide ourselves.
