Rescind the Church of Scientology's Tax Exempt Status.

Documentaries including those produced by ABCs 20/20, Fox News and BCCs Panorama have exposed evidence of physical and psychological mistreatment of members of the Scientology organization. Former members who have escaped Scientology facilities have told media outlets the organization is not a church and have provided evidence that the foundation of the organization's principles and ideologies are based on science fiction writings of its founder, L. Ron Hubbard.
The recent expose released to HBO entitled "Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief" provides further evidence detailing the Scientology's abuses of human rights, federal law, tax payer dollars and abuse of the Federal IRS. It is in the best interest of the U.S. to rescind the tax privileges of this corrupt institution.
