March 29 1884 Chester A. Arthur president of the United States signed executive order reducing the size of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Reservation from 22 townships to two townships. Rational of his executive order was "Their are too many Mixed Bloods".
We are requesting the current President of the United States rescind the March 29 1884 executive order establishing the boundaries of Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians reservation to the year of 1882.
