Rescind the Executive Order of December 27 2012 on Adjustments of Certain Rates of Pay

Created by M.S. on December 31, 2012

The leaders of our nation, on either side of the aisle, in and out of Congress, have failed to properly do the work we have elected them to do. At 12:01am on January 1 2013, we will go over the so-called "fiscal cliff", which is, for all intents and purposes, a general failure of our leaders to represent their constituents.

On December 27, President Obama signed "Executive Order -- Adjustments of Certain Rates of Pay". This order gives our Congressional leaders a pay increase.

We do not believe our elected leaders deserve a pay increase when federal taxes will increase on all Americans (among other things) because of their inability to come together to balance our budget.

We petition that the Executive Order signed by President Obama on 12/27/2012 be rescinded.
