rescind the Executive Order granting an undeserved raise to the Vice-President and members of Congress.

Created by U.S. on December 28, 2012

The President of the United States has used the Executive Order privilege to grant a raise to the Vice-President and members of Congress. In a time when the American people are struggling to make ends meet, when the U-6 unemployment rate (the TRUE unemployment rate) continues to hover over 14%, when Congress cannot put their own egos aside to avert financial disaster in thinly veiled attempts to keep their own jobs rather than placing the interests of those of us who pay their salaries ahead of their own desire for personal gain, it is absurd to give these people more money. This is our money. We pay their salaries. These are our employees. They work for us, not the other way around. And we have the right to decide when and IF these people deserve more money. They do not.
