rescind its nomination of Tom Wheeler for the position of FCC Chairman.

Created by A.K. on May 02, 2013

We don't want an FCC chairman who has lobbied on behalf of companies that have shown NO interest, nor shown any interest himself, in fostering an open and competitive telecommunications landscape.

President Obama, it is time for you to make good on your promise to close the "revolving door."

Nominate someone who has ALREADY demonstrated a strong commitment to ALL of the following:

- Providing rural communities with the broadband Internet access they need to participate in the modern economy, and an understanding of the technologies that will make this practical.

- Providing both rural and urban consumers alike with real choice in telecommunications providers.

- Implementing policy that will prevent a few select companies from being the gatekeepers of our digital economy.
