We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Rescind new policy requiring ownership of a cell phone with text capability to log into one's Social Security account

Created by S.B. on August 12, 2016

The White House's new directive (8-1-2016) requiring ownership of a cellphone (with text capability) to log into one's Social Security/Medicare account on the Social Security website is impractical and unacceptable. As a result, those of us without cellphones no longer have online access to our Social Security/Medicare account. Please rescind this unworkable policy immediately.
