Rescind the November 20th, 2014 Executive Actions on Immigration and allow the new congress, elected Nov. 2014 to act.

Created by M.B. on November 22, 2014

This petition is to request that the President rescind his November 20th, 2014 Executive Action on Immigration. The President should be deferential to the newly elected Congress (Nov. 2014) and allow them to debate the matter. The President is acting solely in the political interest as opposed to the Public Policy interest as evidenced by his failure to advocate for immigration reform between 2008-2010 when his party controlled both chambers of Congress. He further failed to act in the past 4 years, leading up to his reelection and the midterm elections following his reelection. The President attempted to act in the political interest of his party and is doing so again. In the process it is our belief he is circumventing the rule of law and ignoring the Separation of Powers.
