Rescind the orders to send US troops to Ebola-stricken countries as it is not their job and not within their training.

Created by T.R. on October 13, 2014

My petition is for stopping all movement of US troops to Ebola-stricken nations as they are not properly trained for this type of mission and should not be placed in danger, when there are health organizations such as WHO, our own CDC and other agencies that are trained to handle Ebola. I am angered that we are putting our troops in harms way again, but this time against a foe they have little training to deal with, and can't hope to win against if through some small breach of protocol they contract this fatal disease. Bring them home before they get there, and DO NOT send them at all.

We already have a nurse exposed to the illness through a breach of protocol, and her hospital supposedly knew what it was doing. I do not see this ending well for our troops. Do not put them in danger.
