RESCIND PAY RAISES FOR CONGRESS AND FEDERAL EMPLOYEES.

Created by S.J. on December 30, 2012

In light of the current fiscal situation, it is irresponsible to authorize pay raises for Congress and Federal employees. Due to Senator Reid's exceptional ineffectiveness as majority leader, the current body has done less than any previous Congress since the 1940s. In the private sector, pay raises are generally merit-based. Considering Congress's severe under-performance, pay raises at this time are neither warranted nor wise.
