Our position is that President Obama needs to take immediate action to rescind the permit issued to Shell Oil to drill in the Arctic Ocean.
For over a year every environmental group has pleaded with our President not to let this crime against nature go forward.
Any oil disasters occurring in and around the Chukchi Sea/Arctic Ocean will have devastating, long-term effects on the environment, the indigenous peoples and countless species of animal and marine life.
This is one of the last pristine areas that man has not sullied and we the people want it kept that way forever.
Mr. President, stop the drilling before it's too late!
