Rescind the PLCAA (Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act) so victims can sue manufacturers and sellers of guns

Created by J.S. on December 27, 2012

The PLCAA (Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act) was lobied for by the NRA, and passed in 2005. The Act offers a comprehensive shield to prevent victims of gun violence from suing gun manufacturers and gun dealers.

If victims can sue manufacturers and dealers of other devices if those items cause injury or death, why should gun manufacturers and dealers have a special exemption?

The PLCAA should be rescinded.
