Rescind a recent executive order granting pay increases to Congress and other federal officials

American people don't get an automatic pay raise then neither should members of Congress. Rescind executive order that gives members of Congress and other elected/appointed officials a pay raise. This executive order was not requested by Congress and should be rejected. We have a spending problem in our country and we should be looking for areas to cut spending. At a time when families across the country are cutting back. Seems very convenient for lawmakers that the pay raise went through right when taxes were raised. This bill should prevent lawmakers from giving themselves pay raises when many Americans have had pay decreases over the past 5 years. This pay raise is a testament to the corruption in our federal Government.
