When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another....We hold these truths to be self-evident: that we the people are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; Our government is instituted among men whom derive their just powers from the CONSENT of the governed and when the government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it and to institute a new government. We the people do not consent to any laws contrary to the plain language of the Constitution and consider them null and void. The same Constitution that gives the people rights is the same that establishes office.
