We, the Christian people of the United States of America, call for the immediate humanitarian rescue of the many thousands of Christians in Iraq who are being threatened and murdered by the "Islamic State" known as ISIS. We understand that in this case, humanitarian rescue most likely must involve loosing upon ISIS the considerable might of the US military via airstrikes.
While the United States of America welcomes the members of other religions, it was founded as a Christian nation, and was meant to be governed as such.
As Christians, we are one family with other Christians all over the world.
President Obama proclaims himself to be a Christian and thereby presents himself as a defender of the faith. Now is the time to defend our faith.
