Research Endometriosis and consider changing the government view of it to a disability.

Created by S.W. on January 04, 2013

An estimated 89 MILLION women and girls worldwide have endometriosis! "This makes endometriosis more common than AIDS and more common than cancer", as per Ohio State University Medical Center. Yet for years it has remained largely "under-the-radar". The general public has been largely unaware of it - or misunderstands just how very debilitating it can be. When endometriosis IS mentioned in the media, misleading statements may be made (causing confusion for patients and the public). We have a duty to educate the public about this life-altering illness by spreading factual information... and by recognizing misinformation and taking steps to address that. Endometriosis can only be diagnosed via a surgical procedure called a laparoscopy.
