Resolve the Debt Ceiling and Sequestration Crisis

We the People petition our President and Congress to resolve the debt ceiling and sequestration crisis (commonly referred to as the fiscal cliff) before 31 December 2012. We further petition that, should the federal politicians (the President, Vice President, and all members of the Senate and House of Representatives) fail to resolve the debt ceiling crisis and cause the US government to enter sequestration, the federal politicians named above shall not be paid their government salary for a period of not less than one (1) year, with their pay reinstated, minus the minimum one (1) year penalty, when they fulfill their obligation as our representatives to establish a federal budget. This penalty shall include all added entitlements, including cost of living allowances.
